The Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education (ICFES) announced the extension of the term to register for the State Exams Saber 11 Calendar A, Pre Saber and Validation of the Academic Baccalaureate.
Although 92% enrollment has already been reached to date, Certified Territorial Entities have expressed administrative difficulties when registering their students. For this reason, the ordinary registration and collection period was extended until Friday, May 19, 2023.
It is important to mention that an extraordinary registration and collection period has been established from May 23 to 25, 2023. Grade 11 students will be registered by their educational institutions on the official ICFES website.
The application date of the three tests will be Sunday, August 13, 2023 in face-to-face mode. On the other hand, the citations will be published on Friday, July 28 on the same website.
ICFES invites educational institutions and students to complete the registration and payment process on time to avoid additional costs . Likewise, it recommends that educational institutions motivate their students to take the Pre Saber exam, so that they become familiar with the type of questions and the structure of Saber 11.
For the payment of the three exams, the collection will be made online through the PSE payment button without leaving home, or in person at the branches of Davivienda, Banco de Bogotá and at bank correspondents authorized by Banco Davivienda.
Finally, the Saber 11 test seeks to provide tools to guide the life project of young people based on their learning abilities and challenges. Therefore, it is not expressly addressed to students who are about to finish their eleventh grade, but also to those who wish to improve their score or who have not yet taken the exam.
