Mongolia has ratified the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education.

The convention, which was approved by the UNESCO General Conference in 2019, has been acceded to by 33 countries, with Mongolia becoming the 34th.

The document supports member states in the recognition of higher education diplomas and degrees to promote the right to education and enhance academic mobility.
