Open to all Ðãɫֱ²¥ members, this regularly held Zoom is an opportunity to connect, exchange, and commune. A member moderator will help to foster an open space for Ðãɫֱ²¥ members to discuss whatever is on their minds as it relates to that month's discussion topic.

The June meeting will take place from 3:00 PM ET - 4:00 PM ET on October 23, 2025. Below you can find June's member moderator as well as the discussion topic and registration link. Once registered, you should receive a Zoom invitation via your roster-listed email address.

Pathways to Leadership: Career Planning for Managers & Supervisors

This informal discussion invites current and aspiring managers and supervisors to explore practical strategies for career advancement. We’ll share experiences, discuss essential leadership qualities, and identify actionable steps for professional growth. The conversation will highlight how to assess readiness, communicate career goals, and foster the skills needed to thrive in management roles—all in a supportive, peer-driven environment. We have a few discussion questions listed below, but we invite you to bring your own ideas, questions, and perspectives to share with others!

  1. What motivated you to pursue or consider a management or supervisory role?
  2. Which leadership qualities do you think are most important for managers and supervisors, and why?
  3. What challenges have you faced in developing management skills, and how did you overcome them?
  4. How do you foster a supportive and empowering environment for your team?
  5. What advice would you give to someone preparing to transition into a management position?
