Role: Registrar
Maureen O’Mara Carver is an Ðãɫֱ²¥ Senior Consultant with over 20 years of consulting experience. She has led various higher education student service and enrollment management teams for the past 30 years. Ms. Carver’s experience includes 22 years of experience at Villanova University School of Law as an assistant dean with responsibility for the registrar, admissions, and financial aid offices. As an executive director, Ms. Carver served at Saint Joseph’s University and Montgomery County Community College with responsibility for enrollment and financial services operations. Most recently, she was Registrar at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Ms. Carver’s extensive experience in higher education and with Ðãɫֱ²¥ Consulting has allowed her to work collaboratively with all levels of faculty and administration to tackle issues related to policy and procedure, office structure and reorganization, integrated student service implementations, and improved use of systems. She has a broad scope of experience in tackling such issues as the role of a registrar, and the scope of responsibility appropriate to the position considering the mission and goals of the institution. This work encompasses topics such as records retention, grading practices, personnel management, use of systems, course scheduling, and the effect of policies and procedures on the work of the registrar’s office. Ms. Carver has a proven record of leveraging technology to deliver better student services without increasing the need for additional personnel.
