Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are a critical part of the American higher education system, and the Ðãɫֱ²¥ Black Caucus is proud to present its upcoming webinar on the value of HBCUs to Ðãɫֱ²¥.

Ðãɫֱ²¥ represents institutions in every part of the higher education community, from large public institutions to small, private liberal arts colleges. However, the voice of HBCUs is often underrepresented within Ðãɫֱ²¥. This webinar is an opportunity to invite HBCU leaders to discuss Ðãɫֱ²¥'s value as a professional association and to share how Registrars, Admission Officers, and Enrollment Management professionals at HBCUs can benefit professionally and personally from involvement with Ðãɫֱ²¥.

The webinar will be held on October 25, 2023, at 12 PM ET and will feature a panel of distinguished HBCU leaders, including:

  • Dr. Tomikia LeGrande, President of Prairie View A&M University

  • Dr. Wendolyn Davis, Executive Director for Pathway Alignment at Chattanooga State Community College

  • Portia LaMarr, Product Manager in Information Technology at The Ohio State University

  • Keisha Campbell, Executive Director for Enrollment Services & University Registrar at Morgan State University

The panelists will discuss the following topics:

  • The value of Ðãɫֱ²¥ membership for HBCUs

  • How HBCUs can participate more fully in Ðãɫֱ²¥ activities at the regional and national levels

  • The professional and personal benefits of Ðãɫֱ²¥ involvement for HBCU professionals

We invite you to join us for this important conversation about the value of HBCUs to Ðãɫֱ²¥ and to the broader higher education community.
