Ðãɫֱ²¥â€™s Director of Research and Managing Consultant, and senior consultant will be hosting a workshop on records management this year during Ðãɫֱ²¥â€™s in Denver, Colorado.

 workshop will provide a comprehensive overview and discussion of the records management lifecycle from records creation through destruction.  The discussion will include the influence of technology on practice, how to minimize workload while remaining in compliance as well as examples from the field for both private and public institutions. This session will also use audience response technology to enhance discussion.

Overall, increasing efficiencies in institutional records and registration processes is a powerful, proven way to improve enrollment outcomes. Kilgore and Kisling have listed their key learning points of this workshop to be:

  • To develop/modify records retention practices,
  • To develop/update records retention policy, and
  • To optimize use of technology for records retention.
