During ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥'s Annual Meeting:

1) attend the Workshop for State and Regional Presidents, Presidents-Elect, and other officers,

2) assist Member Orientation Committee by staffing the Welcome Booth and by serving as a facilitator at the Orientation for First Time Attendees and New Members of ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥, and/or

3) attend a reception with ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥'s Board of Directors.

1) State and Regional leadership meeting in Washington, D.C.

2) Receive request from ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥'s Vice Chair of the Nominations and Elections Committee for recommendations for officer positions and Nominations and Elections Committee candidates.

Receive request from ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥'s Past President for suggestions for potential members for Professional Activities Committees for the next year.

Receive request from ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥'s Past President for names of candidates for Honorary Life Memberships.

Most state and regional association annual meetings occur during this period. The ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ representative will ask that the association's incoming president complete the State and Regional Association Information Form which provides information for mailing lists and for this Website. Encourage all officers to join the State and Regional listserv.

Submit nominations for the State and Regional Professional Activity Award.

State and Regional Associations that plan to host hospitality rooms at ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥'s Annual Meeting should submit the appropriate request form to the ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ Office.

Receive request from the ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ Vice President for Association and Institutional Issues for association's choice (and alternates) to represent ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ at the association's next annual meeting.

President should notify the Annual Meeting Conference News Editor about any association plans for social functions during the ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ meeting. President should be prepared to provide a photograph to the Annual Meeting local arrangements committee.
